Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how Road Buddy Warwickshire Ltd ("Road Buddy", "we", "us") handles personal information when you contact us through this website, by telephone, by WhatsApp or by email, and when we carry out roadside or mobile work for you.

We keep this deliberately short because we collect very little. We only use the information you choose to give us, and only for the purpose of answering your enquiry and carrying out the work you ask for.

Who we are

Road Buddy Warwickshire provides 24/7 mobile tyre fitting, car battery replacement, jump starts and vehicle recovery. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

Road Buddy Warwickshire Ltd, 13 Bath Place, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire CV31 3AQ. Telephone 01926 293333 or 07852 205378. Email roadbuddywarwickshire@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect only the details needed to reach you and to attend the right vehicle in the right place:

  • Your name and contact details — the phone number, and email address if you give one.
  • Your location — the postcode or a description of where the vehicle is.
  • Vehicle details — the make, model or registration, where you supply them so we can identify the correct tyre or battery.
  • The message or description of the problem you send us.

How the contact form works

The enquiry form on this website does not send anything on its own and does not store your details on the site. When you submit it, the form simply assembles the details you typed into a message and hands it to WhatsApp or to your email application, so you can review and send it yourself. Nothing leaves your device until you send that message.

Once you send it, we receive the message in the same way as any other WhatsApp message or email.

Phone, WhatsApp and email enquiries

If you call, message or email us, we hold that conversation and the details in it so we can respond, attend the job and deal with any follow-up questions afterwards. WhatsApp messages are held in the WhatsApp service on our phone, and email is held in our email account, in each case under those providers' own terms.

Why we use your information

Our lawful bases are that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform that contract, and our legitimate interest in running and keeping records of the business.

  • To answer your enquiry and give you a price before any work begins.
  • To attend your vehicle and complete the work you have asked for.
  • To contact you about that job, including anything that needs following up afterwards.
  • To keep the ordinary business records we are required to keep, such as records of work carried out and payments received.

Cookies and website analytics

This website does not run advertising trackers and does not currently load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or any similar analytics tool. No tracking or advertising cookies are set when you browse the site.

If we introduce analytics in future, it will be behind a consent prompt and this policy will be updated before it goes live. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs, which are used for security and reliability only.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. We may share what is necessary with a supplier when it is needed to complete your job — for example, giving a tyre or battery specification to a supplier so that the correct part is obtained. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

The communication services we use, such as our mobile network, WhatsApp, our email provider and this website's hosting provider, necessarily process the messages you send us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only as long as they are useful for dealing with your enquiry and any follow-up. Records relating to completed work and payment are kept for as long as we are required to keep business and tax records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, and object to or ask us to restrict how we use it.

To make a request, contact us on 01926 293333 or email roadbuddywarwickshire@gmail.com. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the way the website or the business works changes. The date below shows when it was last reviewed.
