M6 Mobile Tyre Fitting & Breakdown Recovery
Breakdown or flat tyre on the M6? Road Buddy covers the M6 from Rugby and Coventry through Coleshill and Birmingham to Cannock, for mobile tyre fitting, recovery and jump starts.
If you are stopped in a live lane or in immediate danger, call 999 first.
Motorway attendance and any roadside work depend on safe access and your exact location. We will not fit tyres or work beside live traffic — the vehicle may need to be recovered to a suitable safe location before work can be completed.
The M6 is one of the busiest motorways in the country. Our coverage runs from J1 at Rugby, past Coventry, Bedworth and Nuneaton, through the Coleshill interchanges and around Birmingham to Cannock — the part of the M6 that sits within reach of our Warwickshire base.
On the M6 the junction numbers, the direction of travel and the many link roads to the M1, M69, M42, M6 Toll, M5 and M54 all matter. Below you will find each junction we cover and what to send us when you call.
M6 Mobile Tyre Fitting
Mobile tyre fitting on the M6 means bringing a tyre in your size to a safe place — after you leave the motorway at a junction, at Corley Services, or once the vehicle has been moved off the carriageway. Send a photo of the tyre sidewall so we can confirm stock before setting off.
Mobile tyre fitter near M6 J2 and J3 (Coventry, Bedworth, Nuneaton)
J2 is the A4600 junction for Coventry and the start of the M69 towards Leicester; J3 is the A444 junction for Bedworth and Nuneaton. These junctions are close to our core Coventry coverage and are good places to leave the motorway and wait for a tyre.
Tyre blowout between Coleshill and Birmingham
From J4 to J10 the M6 through Birmingham has sections of smart motorway and elevated road, including Gravelly Hill (J6). If a tyre blows out here, use an emergency area if one is in reach. If you are stuck in a live lane, call 999 first.
M6 Breakdown Recovery
M6 breakdown recovery takes your vehicle off the motorway to your chosen destination. Because the M6 links so many towns we cover — Rugby, Coventry, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Cannock — you can usually have the car taken straight home or to your own garage.
Recovery near Corley Services (J3–J3a)
Corley Services sits between J3 and J3a, with separate northbound and southbound sites. If you have managed to pull in, tell us which side you are on and where in the car park you are parked.
